Kedrion Biopharma is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to collecting and fractionating blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma-derived therapies worldwide. These treatments help manage and prevent rare, ultra-rare, and debilitating conditions, including Coagulation and Neurological Disorders, Immunodeficiencies, and Rh sensitization.

The company’s legacy spans multiple centres of excellence. Expertise dates back more than 100 years in Hungary (Gödöllő, Budapest), over 70 years in the UK (Elstree, London), and extends across specialized facilities in Italy (Bolognana and Castelvecchio Pascoli, Lucca; Sant’Antimo, Naples), North America (Melville, New York, USA; Laval, Québec, Canada), and beyond.

Today, the company employs 5,200 people globally, of which over a 1,000 are located in Elstree, UK.

The 68 centers under KEDPLASMA in the United States and 8 under UNICAplasma in the Czech Republic supply fractionation facilities with essential plasma, supporting an extensive portfolio of 38 products distributed in over 100 countries.

The fractionation process separates the components of plasma and extracts proteins which are isolated, purified and concentrated by Kedrion Biopharma using state-of-the-art plasma fractionation and purification technologies. These proteins are formulated into products which treat serious and life-threatening conditions.
