Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Account Manager - Cell Diagnostics to join a leading Biotechnology company. Your territory will be in either the South East or Midlands. As the Account Manager - Cell Diagnostics you will be responsible for increasing customer awareness of your company's new leading cell diagnostic technology and driving sales across your territory. This will be a home based field sales position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Account Manager - Cell Diagnostics will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will generate and qualify sales leads and close profitable business by meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives.

2. You will build and manage accounts in your assigned territory, ensuring all information is logged onto the CRM system.

3. You will increase customer awareness of the company and it's cell diagnostics products, as well as being an advocate for new technologies

4. As the Account Manager - Cell Diagnostics, you will develop and implement successful sales strategies that support the strategic goals of the company

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - Cell Diagnostics we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science discipline or closely related field, i.e. Biology, Biomedical sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry. PhD and Masters would be advantageous.

2. Proven industry experience in field sales within the biotechnology sector is essential. Experience in reagent and/or technology platform sales is desirable.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Gene Expression or Functional Genomics, or related market is a must. Experience can be either practical or sales.
