Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Account Manager - Life Science to join a leading company based in Ireland. As the Account Manager - Life Science, you will be responsible for driving sales of the companies microbiology, sterility and stability storage services across the Ireland territory. This is a home based, field sales role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Account Manager - Life Science will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will achieve agreed sales targets for the microbiology, sterility tesing services and stability storage services product ranges.

2. You will manage the field sales teams appropriately in order to maximise performance and maintain a high level of training and knowledge.

3. As the Account Manager - Life Science, you will work with Commercial Director to analyse current and new market opportunities to ensure highest success rate from all sales opportunities.

4. You will oversee the sales cycle successfully from inception through to completion and subsequently achieve a high rate of successful conversion and closure of all sales opportunities.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - Life Science we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science subject, for example, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or similar.

2. Proven industry experience in sales, including experience of sales in analytical chemistry or life science products.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with analytical chemistry, microbiology, sterility testing services or stability storage services would be desirable.
