Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Account Manager - South West to join a global biotechnology company. As the Account Manager - South West you will be responsible for sales in Oxford, Bristol, South Wales and Birmingham and you will be covering the Life Science portofolio.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As the Account Manager - South West your responsibilities will include:

1. Liaising cross-functionally with different teams to successfully implement sales strategies into various greenfiled and brownfield sites.

2. Visiting medium to high potential accounts to protectively increase sales to hit and exceed targets.

3. Have a strong knowledge of the Life Science product portfolio allowing you to provide demonstrations and give support when needed to the customers.

4. Provide constant visibility on the progress between local account managers and the global account team.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - South West we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a a Science related subject such as Biology, Immunology, Microbiology or Pharmaceuticals. MSc or PhD is advantageous.

2. Proven industry experience in Biotechnology or Life Sciences Sales. Experience working in a R&D biopharmaceutical company or technology transfer would be beneficial.

3. Sales experience within the Life Science and Biotechnology industry.
