Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Account Manager to join a leading biotechnology company covering the south west of London. As the Account Manager- South West London, you will be responsible for driving the business forwards through lead generation, arranging meetings and nurturing current relationships.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


Your duties as the Account Manager - South West London will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for the management of current relationships and growing the existing sales base through lead generation and business development.

2. A key part of your role will be to carry out analysis of the key accounts, identifying key areas for development and gathering business intelligence.

3. You will engage with customers to promote the client's products, demonstrating them, dealing with enquiries and negotiating sales prices to achieve company targets.

4. As Account Manager you will maintain contacts within the internal CRM, maintaining an accurate record of customer information for future traceability and proposal initiation.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - SW London we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science subject e.g. biology, biochemistry, or biological sciences.

2. Proven industry experience in scientific research, medical or industrial environments would benefit your application.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with account management or sales within the life science industry is also desirable.
