Role Overview

Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Analytical Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Analytical Chemist you will be responsible for the development and validation of analytical methods to support the growing expansion of the clients core business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will develop analytical methods appropriate for raw materials, in-process controls and intermediate/final API's; using techniques such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV and TLC.

2. You will be tasked with the validation of analytical methods in accordance with current regulatory expectations suitable for ASMF submissions; as well as the technology transfer of newly developed methods to the QC team both internally and externally.

3. As the Analytical Chemist you will work closely with research and quality functions to ensure methods are developed and implemented in time to meet project/customer deadlines.

4. You will be required to develop and give presentations on technical topics as well as train/mentor associates.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry related discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in analytical chemistry with method validation

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC and GC method validation and development.
