Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Analytical Chemist to join a leading agrochemical company based in the Oxfordshire area. As the Analytical Chemist you will be responsible for the continued development of the analytical team and successful delivery of key projects within the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Analytical Chemist, you will help maintain an in-house analytical programme to test agrochemical formulations (standard and encapsulated).

2. You will also expand and develop our analytical testing capabilities, with an ethos of continuous improvement.

3. As the Analytical Chemist, you will share responsibilities for the day-to-day operation of the analytical process and ensure studies are carried out accurately and promptly, following related guidance.

4. You will provide technical assistance to the Head of Analytical and action follow up testing.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or other related subjects.

2. Proven industry experience as an Analytical Chemist working within a regulated environment (GLP / ISO).

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC, GC and mass spectrometry. Method development and method validation is desirable.
