Analytical Director

I’m currently looking for an Analytical Director to join a world leader in pharmaceutical healthcare products based in the Kent region. As the Analytical Director, you will be responsible for leading the Analytical team

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Analytical Director will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead the delivery of all Analytical activities for the portfolio of products to clinical studies through to commercialisation.

2. Ensure that Analytical activities are carried out across the team, overseeing the potential impact of quality on clinical supplies or product approval are delivered in line with GMP requirements.

3. Instrumental in shaping and developing the formulation design and scale up of strategies and overall project plans.

4. As a portfolio lead, support the planning and execution of experiments in order to generate and develop analytical methods, processes and formulations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Director we are looking to identify the following on your profile and history:

1. Relevant experience of Validation challenges and the transfer of complex analytical methods.

2. Proven industry experience of the application of analytical chemistry to product development as well as experience of laboratory techniques (eg. API characterisation).

3. A working knowledge and practical experience of Respiratory Inhalation products.
