Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Bioanalytics Lead Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Berkshire area for a 12 month contract. As the Bioanalytics Lead Scientist you will be responsible for leading the bioanalytics team by establishing clear and understandable direction and goals with realistic milestones and deadlines.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Bioanalytics Lead Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As a Bioanalytics Lead Scientist you will be responsible for the review and critique presentations, protocols, SOP’s and reports to prepare them for final review
2. You will be responsible for confidently communicating with external customers to demonstrate the companies scientific credibility and grow relationships
3. As a Bioanalytics Lead Scientist you will be responsible for the generation and documentation of scientific data.
4. You will be responsible for leading project/study reviews and improvement projects.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bioanalytics Lead Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Degree related to Biologics e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
2. Proven industry experience in bioanalytical laboratory setting with leadership duties.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with ELISA, cell culture, potency assays, SPR and impurity assays.
