Role Overview

HRS are currently looking for a Business Development Manager - Drug Development Services to join a leading European CRO based in Scotland. As the Business Development Manager, you will be selling large molecule drug development services, including Bioanalysis and Cell Line Development, across the UK and Europe

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Business Development Manager - Drug Development Services will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will hunt, prospect and drive sales through new business development, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts across the Pharmaceutical and CMO industries.

2. You will provide technical and sales support for new business and establish key contacts within the Pharmaceutical industry and CMO across the EU & UK

3. As the Business Development Manager - Drug Development Services, you will implement plans to sell a broad range of development services, including Biosafety, Bioanalysis and Cell Line Development.

4.You will be responsible for organising and attending meetings, presenting and negotiating sales.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager - Drug Development Services we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biochemistry, Chemistry etc.

2. Proven experience working in a commercial, sales or business development role within a CRO, focusing preferable on large molecule services.

3. You need to have a full, clean driving licence and happy to travel extensively within the UK and EU.
