Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading healthcare innovation company based in the London area. As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and establishing relationships with a range of Life Science/Healthcare companies across the UK.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will engage with relevant companies to discuss the ways their work can be supported and advanced through the offerings available to them.

2. You will support with the development and implementation of business development strategies, using market intelligence and a range of information sources to support your strategy.

3. As the Business Development Manager, you will develop long lasting relationships with relevant companies that align with the key account strategy, and support the company's product development pipeline.

4. You will work to develop an in depth understanding of the Health and Research industries, working with stakeholders including government and trade associations.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Science or Healthcare associated subject with applications to translational research e.g. Oncology, Regenerative Medicine, Cell and Gene Therapy

2. Proven industry experience engaging with external stakeholders at a senior level in either a commercial or technical capacity.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with product development including therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices or digital health technologies.
