We are currently looking for a Clinical Account Manager - South UK to join a leading company with headquarters in the Surrey area. As the Clinical Account Manager - South UK you will be responsible for the M25 corridor territory which includes London, Surrey, Reading and Slough and be responsible for the sales of pioneering instruments, consumables and reagents for cellular immunotherapy.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Clinical Account Manager - South UK will be varied however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.You will be responsible for maximising the sales generated by the company's products in the cellular immunotherapy area. This will include promoting key clinical products including reagents, instruments and consumables across the NHS, Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Academic industries
2.You will be responsible for develop existing relationships and forming new ones with customers and market leaders in biotech, CROs/CMOs, pharmaceutical companies and academia across the the South UK region. This will include the M25 corridor, London, Surrey, Reading and Slough.
3.As an effective and skilled communicator, as well as being technically skilled the Clinical Account Manager - South UK will provide training and instrument demonstrations to at seminars and conferences across the UK.
4.You will have an expert market knowledge of how sales and business works in both the NHS and pharmaceutical industry, including a strong knowledge of market competitors for your products.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Clinical Account Manager - South UK we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. A BSc/MSc or PhD in a Life science subject such as immunology, haematology, medicinal biology, cell therapy, regenerative medicine or a related field with a strong focus and grounding in cellular immunotherapy. Candidates will also need a UK manual driving license.
2. Proven laboratory experience, ideally gained within the biotech/pharmaceutical industries, NHS or CRO/CMO but also open to applicants with just academic research experience.
3. Commercial experience of how business and sales works within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous to your application for the Clinical Account Manager - South UK position, however, this is not essential.
