We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join a leading oncology research company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for managing, organising and analysing clinical and laboratory data; providing a smooth transition for the clinical data to be analysed and presented clearly and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Data Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and assessing data between the clinical/laboratory teams and the data team.

2. You will use your data analysis experience to design and apply quality controls to validate and test incoming laboratory data.

3. You will provide data support for laboratory experiment designs, playing a really important role in the research the company carry out.

4. You will provide data management support throughout the process of clinical trials.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Data Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant BSc degree or equivalent, and ideally 2 years of data handling experience post-graduation

2. A comfortable, provable knowledge of python or R for data processing

3. Preferably Tableau or PowerBI experience, and a high level of confidence in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
