Role Overview

We are currently looking for a SAS Database Analyst/ Programmer to join a leading pharmaceutical company with full remote working supported. As the SAS Database Analyst/Programmer, you will join the Real World Evidence team and will be responsible for supporting statistical programming activities in Real World Evidence and providing input on study design and analysis plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the SAS Database Analyst/Programmer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Joining a team of 14 SAS Database Analysts/ Programmers, you will be reviewing the study concept, protocol design, analysis plans and other study-related documents

2. Developing, validating, maintaining documents analysis programs, tables, charts and associated metadata following the standard working practices

3. Evaluating the quality of the database

4. Ensuring the statistical outputs are produced in an efficient manner

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the SAS Database Analyst/Programmer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. 3+ years experience of SAS programming in Real World Evidence, Epidemiology or a Health Outcomes environment

2. An excellent knowledge of efficient programming with large databases and matching algorithms such as propensity score matching

3. An advanced knowledge of statistical and epidemiological methods as well as previous experience using health claims databases such as CRPD or IBM MarketScan
