We are currently looking for a ELISA Scientist / Clinical Diagnostics to join a leading Diagnostics company based in the Cambridge area. As the ELISA Scientist / Clinical Diagnostics you will be responsible for the aiding in the optimisation, design, and development of immunodiagnostic based assays and assay associated components.

This is a great opportunity for a Biological Scientist with a few years industry experience in commercial assay development to join a growing vibrant team to apply their skills which will in turn provide opportunities of personal growth and development

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the ELISA Scientist / Clinical Diagnostics will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Continuation of the development and overall optimisation and design of different immunodiagnostic based assays, whilst conducting a degree of troubleshooting activities.

2. Preparation of SOPs, records, and published material, as well as having a level of responsibility for customer pilot projects, proof-of-principle experiments or demonstrations as needed.

3. Working collaboratively with members of the development team, R&D team and line manager, and aiding in writing manufacturing handover documentations.

4. Maintaining a good awareness of assay development, knowledge of QC, validation and verification testing, and staying compliant with ISO 13485 and H&S regulations.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the ELISA Scientist / Clinical Diagnostics we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a biological sciences discipline such as Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology etc...

2. Proven industry experience in working in a clinical immunoassay environment within the regulated immunodiagnostic products industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with immunoassays, ELISA, method development, and similarly related immunodiagnostic based applications.
