Expert Buyer

We are currently looking for an Expert Buyer to join a leading Sustainability company based in Belgium on a full-time, hybrid basis. As the Expert Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.

Your duties as the Expert Buyer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Coordinate necessary product specification revisions and deviations as needed with suppliers

2. Maintain system accuracy, including lead-time, pricing, current supplier information, current purchase order data, etc

3. Identify cost savings opportunities and assists in achieving yearly cost reduction targets set by Procurement Manager

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Expert Buyer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Proven experience in the field of supply-chain and procurement as a buyer/purchaser.

2. Strong knowledge of SAP ARIBA.

3. Speak fluent English and Dutch.
