Field Service Engineer

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading life science company. As the Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for Installing, validating, maintaining, and repairing analytical laboratory equipment across the UK.

Your duties as the Field Service Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Being well-versed in all Spectroscopy products, with a focus on the pertinent Service Schedules that are offered to the companies clients.

2. Complete new instrument installation tasks, then train customers.

3. Typically, annual preventative maintenance appointments.

4. instrument validation and IQOQ/PQ testing.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Field Service Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant experience working in an Analytical background troubleshooting on site or as an Engineer.

2. Proven industry experience performing troubleshooting of equipment alongside maintenance of it too.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with instruments such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EDX and AA.
