Role Overview

We are currently looking for a German Speaking Technical Sales Representative to join a leading food safety company based in the Ayrshire area. As the German Speaking Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for managing and growing business across Germany for the company's leading microbiology products, generating sales, devising business and marketing plans and acting as the first point of contact for customers. This role will require regular travel to the territory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the German Speaking Technical Sales Representative will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Develop and generate sales to exceed target revenues for the company's microbiology products including Spoilage/Indicator Microorganisms and Pathogens across the molecular, optical and immunology fields. Assist in development of strategies to penetrate new markets.

2. Manage business growth across Germany by design and implementation of a business plan and making calls and visits to potential customers. Communicate with existing customers to monitor customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain a database of customers and potential clients.

3. Run and demonstrate all test kits for potential customers and solve technical customer issues, liaising with other teams where appropriate. Attend industry trade shows to promote products and services as the German Technical Sales Representative.

4. Develop and translate technical sales material.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the German Speaking Technical Sales Representative we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life science discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in sales is desirable, but not essential.

3. Fluency in German.
