Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Global Account Manager - Biotechnology to join a leading privately funded Biotechnology start-up company based in the Surrey area. As the Global Account Manager - Biotechnology you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new business accounts in the Pharmaceutical sector for an exciting and market leading product.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Global Account Manager - Biotechnology will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will develop new business whilst also managing existing client relationships in the Pharmaceutical industry.

2. As the Global Account Manager - Biotechnology, you will be flexible and able to travel globally and up to 50% of the time

3. You will help establish and set up the company's CRM systems and processes and help toward the sales tracking and forecasting.

4. You will help establish and manage distributor relationships in countries across the world.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Global Account Manager - Biotechnology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific subject would be preferable, however Business Development experience and personality is more important.

2. Proven industry experience in Business Development and Account Management is essential.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with the Pharmaceutical, Medical or Healthcare industry is preferred.
