Role Overview

Are you a Chemical or Process Engineering Graduate looking for an exciting job opportunity?

We are currently looking for a Graduate Process Engineer to join a Global Process Engineering company based in the Staffordshire / Derbyshire area.

The company offers a flexible working from home policy as well as a competitive salary.

As the Graduate Process Engineer you will be responsible for providing proactive process engineering services to all business units within the company, including sales & proposals, process / project engineering and project execution with a primary focus in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Graduate Process Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will carry out process engineering tasks as allocated and appropriate to training and experience as well as ensuring both the business and client Health & Safety standards are upheld across all business activities through support the Health, Safety & Quality Manager.

2. You will be responsible for ensuring designs completed meet all required standards including Client, company and legislative standards (with reference to Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer or Lead Process Engineer where necessary).

3. Additionally, you will also be responsible ensuring quality, completeness, consistency and accuracy of allocated deliverables in conjunction with a Process Engineer (or Senior/Lead Process Engineer).

4. You will contribute directly and indirectly to the success of the company as a whole and act as a positive role model whilst ensuring professional standards are maintained.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Graduate Process Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A Chemical or Process Engineering degree is essential for this position.

2. Industrial year or placement experience in engineering, preferably within a highly regulated environment, would be highly advantageous. Basic knowledge of engineering within batch processes, liquid processing alone with CIP would also be advantageous.

3. Working knowledge with MS Office including, Excel, Access, Project and experience with AutoCAD will also be required for this role.
