Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Head of Global Commercial Intelligence to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Middlesex area. As the Head of Global Commercial Intelligence you will be responsible for supporting business decision making through the provision of recommendations based on solid evidence and customer insight.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Head of Global Commercial Intelligence will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Head of Global Commercial Intelligence you will lead the Global Intelligence that allows the business to make the correct commercial decisions and optimise sales in the pharmaceutical market

2. You will optimise the sales performance and profitability of pharmaceutical products through the use of market and customer insights / intelligence to generate actionable recommendations.

3. You will use intelligence to develop fit for purpose market research plans across all brands at a global level ensuring budget allocation is appropriate and will deliver a tangible ROI. Ensure local plans are aligned

4. You will ensure there is an effective Competitive Intelligence strategy that enables the business to proactively act in response to threats well in advance to mitigate any risks to existing pharmaceutical brands

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Head of Global Commercial Intelligence we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. You will need to be able to show that you have excelled in a similar Global Intelligence role for a pharmaceutical company

2. You will need to show strong experience in all market research methodologies, both qualitative, quantitative and the ability to critically evaluate project plans

3. You will have to be able to demonstrate experience of pre-launch planning and the ability to develop and deliver a pre-launch market research plan to help build the commercial launch platform
