We are currently looking for a Head of Method Validation to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Greater London area. As the Head of Method Validation you will be responsible for devising and implementing the long-term vision and strategy for a dynamic and expanding method validation team, validating phys/chem methods and bioassays.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Head of Method Validation will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Developing and delivering the long-term vision of the Method Validation department and supporting the QC strategy and vision.

2. As the Head of Method Validation you will be ensuring that the laboratories are compliant and host customer / regulatory audits as required.

3. You will be providing leadership for the development of technical and scientific capabilities to improve/maintain quality of study activities delivered to customers.

4. As the Head of Method Validation you will be developing and implementing efficient work processes across the department, e.g. Lean Lab, 6S and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Head of Method Validation we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Exceptional people management skills, in order to maximize the staffs professional and technical development.

2. Proven industry experience in Biologics Assay Validation and Development.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience developing and implementing efficient work processes e.g. Lean Six Sigma.
