Role Overview

HRS are currently looking for an Immunology Scientist - Cell and Gene Therapy to join a leading Cell and Gene Therapy company based in Central London area. As the Immunologist - Cell and Gene Therapy you will be responsible for carrying out process development for cell and gene therapy products. This is a great opportunity for a scientist with a strong immunology background and knowledge in the Cell and Gene Therapy space. This is a laboratory based position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Immunology Scientist - Cell and Gene Therapy will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will aid the translation of research based manufacturing processes to scalable clinical manufacturing.

2. You will be supporting with the development of experiments using a variety of techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, cytotoxicity and proliferation assays, qPCR, ELISA, electroporation.

3. Record, analyse and present experimental findings in scientific reports, face to face interactions, posters and publications

4. As the Immunology Scientist you will produce SOPs, Risk Assessments, research plans and other protocol.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Immunology Scientist - Cell and Gene Therapy we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in Biological Sciences ideally with a focus on Immunology. A PhD is advantageous.

2. Proven experience in a cell and gene therapy area either in academia or in industry.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with immunology techniques including but not limited to Flow Cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, primary and human immune cell culture etc,
