Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Informatics Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Nottinghamshire area. As the Informatics Scientist you will be responsible for providing informatics support to chemists, biologists, and scientists to simplify scientific dataKey Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Informatics Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will use informatics techniques to provide data solutions to scientific problems
2. You will need to have strong knowledge of relational databases using SQL and programming skills in Python and or C#
3. Ideally you will have had previous experience in cloud computing such as AWS and Data Lake development experience
4. You will work closely with chemists, biologists and other scientists to support clients projects with informatics
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Informatics Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a science related subject with additional studies in Computer Science
2. Ideally you will have experience in informatics, cheminformatics, or other scientific programming role
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with python or other related software scripting language
