Role Overview

We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join a leading global company based in the Cannock area. As the IT Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering two project streams updating legacy software and implementing new business process

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the IT Project Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the IT Project manager you will deliver new software solutions in an agile environment to replace a legacy solution.

2. You will work alongside the software provider to ensure the project delivery is on time and too budget

3. The project manager will develop and own the project plan, ensure each business area is ready for the new software implementation, deliver the new software solution and ensure go live

4. You will work closely with the software provider to manage the SDLC to ensure the product development fits in with the project plan

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the IT Project Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Demonstrable knowledge of a large scale software implementation in a multi application environment

2. Delivery of an agile software project with knowledge of SDLC

3. Project certification such as Prince 2, PMP, Agile etc
