Role Overview

We are currently looking for an IT Service Delivery Engineer to join a leading Scientific company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the IT Service Delivery Engineer you will be responsible for delivering a high level of 1st and 2nd Line IT Support in a fast paced GxP compliant environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the IT Service Delivery Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will provide 1st and 2nd line deskside and remote support of all hardware and software with a focus on Microsoft products such as Azure, Active Directory and office 365

2. You will get to work on supporting major IT systems implementations, hands on desktop and other technical support work for internal staff and outside organisations that they work with

3. The IT Support you will provide is in a fast paced GxP compliant environment and will give you exposure to an exciting environment and cloud based technology

4. You will get exposure to a wide range of IT systems and will need to provide exceptional IT Support and client service delivery and leave your clients confident that you will resolve their IT issues

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the IT Service Delivery Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Demonstrable experience in providing 1st and 2nd line IT support in a fast paced environment, if you have had exposure to GxP or similar compliant environment that would be an advantage

2. Proven industry experience in a fast paced environment working within a 2nd line Desktop support position, covering Microsoft Azure AD, on premise AD, Exchange Online, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Desktop applications,

3. You will need to be highly motivated, pragmatic and practical with a strong work ethic and eye for detail with good problem resolution, judgement and decision making skills.
