We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, confident laboratory technician to join a leading cell and gene therapy company in the Oxfordshire area.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Laboratory Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.You will carry out cell culturing techniques as well as laboratory and equipment cleaning while following aseptic techniques. Maintaining cell lines, preparing culture media and assisting in assay preparation will be among your responsibilities.
2.Your role as the Laboratory Technician will involve monitoring incubators including temperature monitoring device management.
3. Stock and reagent control will be included in your duties along with routine maintenance of essential equipment.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Laboratory Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.Relevant degree in a Life Sciences related degree such as, but not limited to, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology
2. Ability to carry out aseptic techniques and previous experience working in a GxP environment would be beneficial to your application.
