An exciting opportunity for an Maintenance Engineer has become available to join a leading Bio-pharmaceutical in the Oxfordshire area. As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance activities on manufacturing, laboratory and office facilities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities on all equipment, utilities and facilities to GxP standards. Ensure all manufacturing, laboratory and office facilities remain compliant to regulations and standards
Actively involved in Shut-downs & engineering project to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance engineering objectives.
Pro actively looking at efficiencies of scheduling, processes and operational delivery to improve all round work output. Proactive & Reactive fault finding abilities on Electrical AND Mechanical equipment.
Manage contractors and accurately complete documentation within OXB & GxP regulations and standards.
*Ideally the right candidate will be an Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer*
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Maintenance Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Must have completed a time served apprenticeship or hold a HNC/HND qualification in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
2. Proven industry experience and knowledge of Gxp/GMP environments - either in a Pharmaceutical or Food environment
3. Working knowledge and practical experience within a manufacturing / processing environment
