Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Medical Information Officer to join a leading Pharmacovigilance Consultancy based North of London. As the Medical Information Officer you will support the Pharmacovigilance team with Medical Information and product queries as well as adverse event reports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Medical Information Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will respond to questions about products from Healthcare professionals, consumers and members of the public that are medically and scientifically accurate.

2. You will identify adverse events and ensure these are sent to the Pharmacovigilance team. You will also liaise with the PV team to follow up on case reports as required.

3. You will research medical literature to provide references for Medical Information queries.

4. You will maintain Medical information documentation following SOPs and GDP.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Medical Information Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Life Sciences discipline will benefit your application but is not required.

2. Proven industry experience in a Medical Information team where you have experience of Pharmacovigilance procedures is desired.
