Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Molecular Scientist - Industrialisation to join a leading Cell and Gene Therapy company based in the London area. As the Molecular Scientist you will be responsible for supporting the development of novel cell and gene therapy medicinal products and associated technologies for multiple clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Molecular Scientist - Industrialisation will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Molecular Scientist you will work in a matrix team environment, contributing expertise and influencing the design and planning of laboratory work.

2. You will undertake laboratory-based development activities across a range of projects, applying expert molecular biology knowledge to develop novel assays and support product characterisation.

3. A responsibility of the Molecular Scientist will include planning, writing, and executing scientific protocols, maintaining accurate records and managing data in line with company policies.

4. You will also work with process and analytical development scientists within academic and industrial settings.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Molecular Scientist - Industrialisation we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Molecular Biology related discipline (preferably PhD or MSc) plus industry experience.

2. Proven industry experience working within an appropriate cell and gene therapy environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with PCR, ELISA and SPR assay development and flow cytometry.
