Product Manager

I am currently looking to hire a Product Manager to join a well-established, broadline supplier of electrical components. With a background of 50 years, and more than 80 locations worldwide supporting a industries including; Biotechnology, Medical & Healthcare, Advanced Robotics, & Energy & Power to name a few they are now looking to expand their product management & internal sales team after a period of sustained growth.

Working alongside an experienced team based in Greater Manchester, this position will take responsibility for managing a key category of electrical components, working closely with suppliers & manufacturers to secure key product ranges manage product life cycles & assist with price negotiations and establishing margins.

This would be well suited to an inside / internal sales specialist with a background or knowledge in electrical or Electronic products.

1. Secure product ranges through building close relationships with key suppliers, identifying opportunities to establish product registrations.

2. Manage regular business reviews, negotiating prices to establish clear product margins.

3. Support new product introductions, and the registration of, processing & tracking of key projects.

1. A proven background in internal / inside sales, supplier management or product management.
2. Previous experience within OR knowledge of the Electricals / Electronics industry would be a distinct advantage.
3. Excellent communication & organisational skills with the ability to build rapport & influence effectively.
