Role Overview
Are you an experienced production or washbay operator looking for an exciting new job opportunity?We are currently looking for a Production Operator and Manufacturing Washbay Operator to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Leeds area.
Please note that there is shift work involved for both of these positions and you will be required to work alternating shifts between hours 0600 - 1830.
As the Production Operator, you will dispense and/or operate automated manufacturing equipment and inspect product being manufactured with adherence to standard operating procedures and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
As the Washbay Operator, you will be responsible for the cleaning and drying of manufacturing and filling equipment within the manufacturing facility whilst adhering to written instructions and cleaning forms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Production Operator / Washbay Operator will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As the manufacturing production operator, you will be responsible for operating and ensuring proper operation of manufacturing equipment which may include mixing, compression, coating or dispensing as required by area.
2. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the recording of tasks and events on the batch and in-process documentation is carried out both timely and accurately in accordance with cGMP’s.
3. Since you will be handling pharmaceutical products, a large part of the role is to ensure that the production area is maintained to the high level of cleanliness and tidiness as required under GMP regulations.
4. Additionally, as the washbay operator, you will be responsible for the cleaning/drying of various manufacturing and filling equipment as well as the assembly and disassembly of machinery when required.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application for both the Production Operator and Washbay Operator, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Prior experience working in a fast paced production or manufacturing environment in a similar role is essential.
2. Experience working in a regulated GMP environment or knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry would also be highly advantageous.
3. We are looking for someone who has a position attitude, flexible and proactive with good attention to detail.
