Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer, Clean Utilities to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Project Engineer, Clean Utilities, you will be responsible for an exciting Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) project. The role will be initially for 6 months with a view to be extended.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Project Engineer, Clean Utilities will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Project Engineer, Clean Utilities, you will be responsible for all projects within clean utilities for this specific projects focussing predominantly with purified water systems as well as other systems including WFI, Clean stream & HVAC.

2. You will be responsible for delivering complex capital projects across a GMP environment which includes P&ID's & CQV projects.

3. As the Project Engineer, Clean Utilities, you will be responsible for mechanically based projects adhering to health and safety and SOP's.

4. You will be responsible for managing projects and working in the Capital Projects team to deliver this specific project.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Engineer, Clean Utilities we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Mechanical discipline is preferred but would consider anyone will a mechanical bias / building services background.

2. Proven industry experience in the Pharmaceutical is desired but would also consider candidates who have worked within other regulated industries (food manufacturing, chemical, FMCG etc.)

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Clean Utilities (Water Purification, WFI, Steam) is essential.
