We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Waterford County. This is an exciting 12-month contract as the Project Engineer. You will be tasked to deliver a diverse multi-million-euro project portfolio assignment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Project Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be able to perform procurement, acceptance of equipment & packaging operations. This will involve liaising with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right first-time project deployment.

2. You will be able to plan and deploy electrical infrastructure including MV/LV upgrades, and implementation of additional electrical capacity for the expanding site.

3. You will be responsible for the reviewing of engineering deliverables, initiate site change controls and associate documentation required by project life cycle.

4. Communicate effectively with weekly reports to management and senior stakeholders.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Project Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry / Mechanical Industrial or equivalent Engineering discipline

2. Proven industry experience in project management roles.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience working within cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
