Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a QA Manager - PT to join a leading company based in the Middlesex area. As the QA Manager - PT you will be responsible for the management and development of the global quality systems for proficiency testing activities in accordance with Corporate Quality Procedures and relevant ISO standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QA Manager - PT will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1) To develop/implement/maintain the local Quality Management System according to ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 9001, with respect to; organisation & management; document & information control; contract review; use of collaborators; purchasing; customer feedback; non-conforming products; corrective & preventive action; records; audits and management reviews. 2) To ensure that the technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17043 are met with respect to; management, staffing & training; collaborators; scheme organisation & design logistics; conduct of proficiency testing scheme; data analysis; communication with participants; confidentiality; collusion; statistical treatment of results. 3) To manage the internal quality audit schedule and communicate the results of audits, both internal and external, to management, through quality reviews. 4) To undertake the necessary liaison with UKAS with regards to the accreditation of PT schemes.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QA Manager - PT we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline. 2. Experience of implementing laboratory quality standards, particularly ISO/IEC 17043 and ISO 9001, and managing/implementing health, safety, security and environment polices.
3. An excellent knowledge of the application of proficiency testing in an analytical laboratory.
