Role Overview

HRS are currently looking for a QC Transfer Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Essex area. As the QC Transfer Scientist you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transfer of all new test methods for new products to the QC laboratories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the QC Transfer Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for leading and driving the completion of all method transfer activities from development to QC.

2. As the QC Transfer Scientist you will prepare training materials for all methods transferred to QC, as well as ensuring that all QC methods are appropriately validated.

3. You will also be expected to perform laboratory work within required timelines and quality standards.

4. You will ensure that all method transfer activities are compliant with company SOPs as well as GMP. This will include identifying any gaps in QC method validations and implementing corrective actions.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Transfer Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant PhD or degree in a relevant Life Sciences discipline plus industry experience.

2. Proven industry experience working in a QC focused method validation role.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with QC testing and GMP.
