Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Quality Assurance Officer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the site wide quality management system, QMS, ensuring GMP compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Quality Assurance Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will utilise the Quality Management improvement programme to control QA records

2. You will provide training to all staff members to ensure GMP compliance

3. You will understand production processes as well as chemistry and related technical information

4. You will ensure the company and site is always audit ready

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Quality Assurance Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a life sciences discipline (eg Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceuticals) in addition to industry experience

2. Proven industry experience in a Quality Assurance role within a regulated environment (eg GMP)

3. Experience within analytical laboratories and QMS Management is essential
