Role Overview

I’m currently looking for a Quality Manager to join a leading chemical manufacturer based in Newquay. As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Quality Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Create, implement and maintain a quality management system, including processes and SOP’s to required 9001:2015 standards, ensuring certification is maintained.

2. Drive Continuous Improvement activity across the Plant and Quality teams, leading and participating in root cause analysis and carrying out lean improvement activities.

3. Support NPD, working across Operational teams to ensure development of products are right first time, liaising with plant production and R&D teams to review product batch test results and specifications, ensuring they’re in line with required changes.

4. Management of the Quality team on a day to day basis, including continued development and training is available.

Role Requirements

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Quality Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Previous experience with QMS implementation for ISO9001

2. Proven industry experience in the FMCG manufacturing sector whilst within a Quality Management position,

3. A working knowledge and practical experience of auditor, ideally as a Qualified Auditor.
