We are currently looking for a Scientist - LCMS - Bioanalysis to join a leading Clinical Research Organisation based in the Yorkshire area. As the Bioanalysis Scientist you will be responsible for carrying out GCP and GLP analytical studies within the mass spectrometry Delivery Team to support human or animal health drug development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Scientist - LCMS-Bioanalysis will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As a Bioanalytical Scientist, you will carry out assigned GLP and GCP analytical studies, ensuring all of your work is performed efficiently to regulatory standards whilst meeting client/sponsor deadlines.

2. You will communicate with other mas spectrometry analysts when coordinating lab work for analytical studies.

3. As a Bioanalytical Scientist, you be responsible for the processing, collation and checking of analytical data. You will also ensure that all raw data generated within the assigned studies are fully documented and recorded.

4. You will support the mentoring and training of more junior analysts to liaise with management and Quality Assurance staff to identify and implement improvements in compliance with GCP/GLP requirements.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Scientist - LCMS-Bioanalysis we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field (Bioanalytical Science, Biology, Biochemistry)

2. Proven industry experience in a Bianalytical GLP environment

3. A working knowledge and practical experience in analysing of a range of analytes including small molecule and large molecule drugs, peptides and biomarkers.
