A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analytical Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Armagh area. As the Senior Analyst you will be responsible for undertaking analytical methods of pharmaceutical drug substances within a GMP environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:
1. Undertake routine chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates and products according to set procedures and methods; in addition to method development and validation. This will be carried out to GMP standards and you will help monitor the levels of compliance within the Laboratory.
2. Maintain records of all analytical work carried out on incoming materials, intermediates, products and monitor the systems in place within the Laboratory to ensure that procedures are being followed.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. A degree in a related chemistry discipline (i.e. Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with proven commercial GMP laboratory experience with analytical method development and method validation.
2. Relevant industry experience of analysing Pharmaceutical drug substances and products with HPLC, GC, dissolution testing as well as experience of analysing samples for both GMP release and Stability.
