Senior Analytical Chemist

We are currently looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Northern Ireland. As the Senior Analytical Chemist you will be responsible for

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Analytical Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Being able to use LC-MS and GC-MS analysis.

2. Analysis of samples for structural elucidation, impurity identification, radiochemical
purity, peptide sequencing, characterisation and quantitative analysis of low level of impurities.

3. Carry out phase appropriate validation and sample analysis in support of development, manufacture and release for both internal and external customers.

4. To write and review SOPs/AOIs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Analytical Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline or equivalent experience.

2. Proven industry experience in LCMS and GCMS analysis of small organic molecules/ peptides and proteins.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with method development and validation
