An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Senior Electrical Technician to join a leading Pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Hertfordshire area.
As the Senior Electrical Technician you will be responsible for supporting the reactive and proactive engineering objectives on pharmaceutical equipment as well as training, planning and continuous improvement objectives.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Electrical Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Maintenance, Calibration, Repair and continual development of all equipment and plant services that fall under the electrical and mechanical scope of the engineering department keeping to relevant regulations & practices.
In line with strategy, assist in manging change away from old systems and ways of working to new business processes.
Deputise and assist the maintenance supervisor in delegation of work to the team and plans on developing skills of other team members
Act as subject matter experiences in engineering points of contact for capital & improvement engineering project work.
Ability to perform engineering maintenance activities to Clean Steam Systems, Plant Steam Generation, Purified water plants, Water for injection, Compressed air, Air handling units and Chiller units within a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Electrical Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering HNC/ONC, C&G 17th Edition.
Proven experience working in a GMP Pharmaceutical environment or a similar Food / FMCG
Working Knowledge and practical experience working as an Electrical biased maintenance engineer maintaining Plant facilities.
