Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join an exciting start-up crop waste company based in the Telford area. As the Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be joining a small dedicated team, with start-to-finish participation in projects.

Your duties as the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Design and build a bespoke machine used to harvest broccoli

2. Work to a project plan with agreed deadlines producing innovative solutions solving complex problems.

3. Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation

4. Use of SolidWorks 2020 to design machinery and other components.

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Mechanical Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in either BEng or BSc (HND with relevant experience) Mechanical Engineering,

2. Proven industry experience in developing products from start to finish.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with SolidWorks CAD packages. Autodesk inventor would be considered.
