Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Oxfordshire area on a 3 month contract. As the Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for the design, configuration and documentation of OXB networks and related infrastructure, providing third-line support to OXB IT Support Team. Candidates must have a strong technical depth in enterprise network design and management using Aruba/HPE. This role is a mixture of remote and onsite working so candidates will need to be able to travel to Oxford when required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Understand, create and maintain documentation of the network configuration

2. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network issues using HP IMC

3. Manage and configuration of new and existing switches - core and distribution - Aruba/HPE

4. Manage and configuration of firewall

5. Support installation and fit out of new product suites and offices

6. Create and maintain VLANs

7. Provide networking support to IT colleagues and internal engineering and facilities teams

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Network Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Proven industry experience in enterprise network design and management using Aruba/HPE/IMC

2. A working knowledge and practical experience of working in a highly secure and controlled environment, ideally in a GxP production setting

3. The ability to work unsupervised, to tight deadlines with excellent documentation experience
