Role Overview

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new exciting opportunity?

We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join a Global Pharmaceutical company based in the Central Belt of Scotland.

As the Site Manager you will be responsible for the commercial and technical management of my client's contract at their site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Site Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for developing the key client relationships and lead a high-performance team delivering world-class facilities services. Additionally you will be working with my client's account manager and the senior site manager to develop bespoke services to suit the client’s functional requirements and maximise internalisation of maintenance services.

2. As the Site Manager, you will also act as an EHS role model to the wider site team and also lead and direct engineering technical support team to ensure equipment optimisation, reliability and availability.

3. You will also be responsible for making sure that all safety and environmental excursions are tracked, monitored and reported to the appropriate department/body and investigated as appropriate, as per site procedures and statutory requirements.

4. Lastly, as the Site Manager, you will also be responsible for the reporting of key KPI's on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and also take charge on the cost control, budgetary management and forecasting, internal reporting.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Site Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. The role requires a skilled manager with engineering experience, compliance and safety focused. Degree or equivalent, preferably in mechanical / building or electrical / building services, with post-graduate experience or trade qualification (National Craft Cert, City & Guilds or Equivalent).

2. It is also essential that you have pharmaceutical industrial experience, working knowledge of a facilities management environment as well as supervisory and line management experience.

3. Previous experience in an energy management role with the ability to demonstrate a clear history of savings achieved would be beneficial.
