Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Software Release Manager to join a leading technology focused company based in the London area. As the Software Release Manager you will be responsible for

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Software Release Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the Software Release Manager you will play key part in the delivery of data

2. You will be responsible for system product quality, the internal testing of changes
and improvements and finally release management

3. As Software Release Manager, you will develop, implement and manage the Quality
Assurance strategy in line with the product delivery lifecycle

4. You will identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains as part of the test release cycle and
manage risks

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Software Release Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. You will need a strong background in IT Service Management, so you will need to be at least ITIL Foundation qualified

2. Proven experience in a previous software release management role, ideally within a large organisation

3. You will need in-depth knowledge of System Testing concepts; covering different testing cycles and different types of testing. Also, you need to have a good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, including Agile techniques
