Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Software Release Manager to join a global, technology focused company based in the London area. As the Software Release Manager you will be responsible for managing all software application change and releases into the business as well as designing and managing the Test plan

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the Software Release Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the software release manager you will develop, implement and own the Quality Assurance strategy in line with the product delivery lifecycle

2. You will manage software updates with the vendor and create test plan, and implementation plan for the business

3. The Software Release Manager will liaise with the application support team to ensure that all support issues are reported and built into a defect management test plan

4. You will ensure as part of the test release cycle you identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Software Release Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1.Previous experience in a quality/software release role

2. ITIL certification or equivalent qualification

3. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including agile techniques and traditional methods
