Supply Chain Officer

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Officer to join a Pharmaceutical CDMO based in the Greater London area. As the Supply Chain Officer you will work within the Customer Services and Logistics department, and will act as the direct interface between the Demand Manager and Supply Chain Manager.

Your duties as the Supply Chain Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be responsible for working directly with customers, processing orders and generating invoices. This will include raising purchase order numbers where required.

2. As the Supply Chain Officer, you will also handle any supply or customer related queries and follow-up within a timely manner. This will also include Key Account Management.

3. Reporting on sales, stock management and forecasts will play a key part in the Supply Chain Officers responsibilities.

4. You will also be required to liaise with freight forwarders, specialising in the delivery of pharmaceutical products, for quotations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Supply Chain Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A relevant degree qualification in a Supply Chain subject matter or similar is desirable, but not essential. We would also consider applicants with suitable demonstrated experience within a supply chain position. You will need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel, working to an intermediate level.

2. An understanding of working within a GMP or GDP environment is desirable, but not essential.

3. SAP knowledge is desirable
