Role Overview

We are currently looking for a T-SQL Data Developer to join a leading global company based in the Cannock, Staffordshire area. As the T-SQL Data Developer you will be responsible for supporting the Data Development Team in producing high-quality design/logic/code/documentation on all projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Your duties as the T-SQL Data Developer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. As the T-SQL developer you will need a strong knowledge of T-SQL and data base fundamentals as well SSAS and SSRS

2. You will be debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting any code produced in T-SQL, ideally with some form of version control GIT etc

3. You will need to be able to work with various Data Sources and their connection types (e.g. Excel, Google, APIs, Web Portals, etc)

4. The T-SQL Developer will need to have existing T-SQL skills possibly in an administration function but will need to have a passion for data and learning

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the T-SQL Data Developer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Strong knowledge of T-SQL and database fundamentals as well as experience in SSIS & SSAS

2. A passion for data and learning, and a desire to work in a cloud based environment

3. An understanding of cloud based computing such as AWS, azure etc would be an advantage but not essential as this can be taught
