We are currently seeking an ambitious Trainee Resource Consultant to join our newly established Technology division for a placement year. HRS is an ambitious and exciting business lead by experienced recruiter Ricky Martin and Lord Alan Sugar. We aim to deliver recruitment excellence, with all business activities offering a service of real value and we are looking for a high energy individual who care about making a difference to people's careers.
Ultimately, the duties of a Resource Consultant is to assist the Senior Consultants on their day-to-day duties as well as helping to find suitable candidates for live roles. Multi-tasking is a huge part of the role and the best people in recruitment have real drive, resilience, motivation and a positive mind-set so to us these are our most important requirements. Some of the skills you will obtain from this placement year will help you further develop key attributes that are essential for any business e.g. communicating effectively with people at all levels, working in a team and trying to achieve common goals as well as individual goals, gaining knowledge and understanding the Tech industry by communicating with professionals, knowing what an exceptional CV looks like and the key techniques required to sell roles effectively.
Hard work is rewarded generously as there are serval incentives in place. On top of your base salary, for any candidate you find that is placed in a permanent roles will earn you £100 and for any candidates placed in a contract role will earn £50. Furthermore, you will gain access to Perkbox (app) which give you discounts in various retail stores and restaurants. At the end of every quarter, your achievements are recognised by the company and gives you a chance to win prizes as well as an evening out which is paid for by the company. Recruitment is a sales based role and you will be spending a lot of time on the phone so any kind of cold sales experience is extremely beneficial however not essential as full training will be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist the Senior Consultants in their day-to-day job whilst being trained on some of the basics required to be a recruitment consultant. 2. Part of your duty will require you to screen candidates on the phone for lives roles as well as advertising the roles to attract candidates. 3. As the Tech Division is newly set up, you will be required to help build the data base by finding relevant potential clients and candidates in the market. 4. Working towards and exceeding targets relating to weekly/monthly deliverables.
